While principally focusing on the skill development we would also want to foster the attitude of a serving heart so that "skillful hands and integrity of heart" are integrated together.
The school will provide tuition that will enable students not only to become more competent on their instrument, but will encourage them to perform in as broad a range of musical styles as possible so that they will have the ability to serve the wide spectrum of musical tastes within the Christian community. The school will train pupils to read from various forms of musical notation and encourage the ability to improvise. We will look to enter students for appropriate Rock School or Associated Board examinations at an appropriate time in their development. Lessons take place during term time on Friday evenings (Drums, Guitar and Electric Bass) and Saturday mornings (Keyboards and Vocals). Most of the lessons take place at Christ Church, Cockfosters, either in the church (Drums) or Church House. Keyboard lessons will take place at Edmonton Baptist Church.
